Fatima Rani is a PhD researcher at the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communications Networks, TU Dresden, specializing in LLM-driven automation and generative AI for sustainable, energy-aware, and deployment-ready industrial large language model operations (LLMOps) systems. She holds an M.Sc. in Software Engineering with a focus on Computer Vision and Machine Learning, and a B.Sc. in Software Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision. Her career began in Pakistan as an IT research engineer, consultant, and lecturer, and expanded through international collaborations across the EU and the UK in Model-Based Systems Engineering, representation learning, and generative AI. Her current work explores biocomputing and energy-efficient AI, advancing methods that balance high computational performance with environmental responsibility in line with UN SDGs 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). She serves on the editorial boards of the American Joυrnаl of Science, Engineering and Technology, Frontiers in Energy Research and Frontiers in Smart Manufacturing (FSM) She is a member of IEEE , ComSoc and IES, and an active reviewer and session chair for IEEE ITNAC, IEEE ACDSA, ESCAPE and IFAC affiliate.
