Curriculum Vitae

Veronika Volkova received her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electronics and Nanoelectronics from the National University of Science and Technology MISiS in 2022, where she focused on semiconductor technology and perovskites. She then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nanoelectronic Systems at the Dresden University of Technology (TUD), completing her thesis on thermally modified multicore fibers for endoscopic imaging in 2025. During her studies, she also participated in an exchange program at the University of Technology of Troyes, researching the optical properties of wideband semiconductors.

Veronika has gained research experience in various roles, including working on minimally invasive endomicroscopes at TUD and studying halide perovskite thin films at MISiS. She also led engineering projects, such as developing solar-powered energy systems, and served as Head of the Engineering School at Inter RAO, where she guided teams in creating prototypes to improve energy stations. Her work has been recognized with several scholarships, including the DAAD STIBET Scholarship in 2025. Veronika is fluent in English, has limited working proficiency in German, and is a native Russian speaker.
