PhD Researcher
Aswin Palathumveettil Jagadeesan is a PhD researcher at the Deutsche Telekom Chair for Communication Networks at TU Dresden since February 2024. He is part of 6G Anna Project. He is currently focusing on machine learning applications in mesh networks.
Aswin was born in Kerala, India, and completed his Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India, in 2019. He worked at Tata Consultancy Services for 2 years. After that, he returned to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to pursue a Master’s in “Cybersecurity Systems and Network” and had the opportunity to join a Dual Master’s Degree program at Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, Italy. Aswin successfully defended his thesis titled “Adversarial Attack Analysis and Defense Mechanisms for Deep Learning-Based Intrusion Detection Systems in Software-Defined Networks” in 2023.
