M.Sc. Nikhitha Nunavath

PhD Researcher

Nikhitha Nunavath is a PhD researcher at the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks, in Quantum Communication Networks Research Group, at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, at Technische Universität Dresden. She received her BSMS dual degree majoring in physics from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Tirupati from 2016-2021. Her MS thesis was titled ‘Quantum teleportation – deterministic and probabilistic schemes’ for quantum communications. She then worked as a Junior Research Fellow at Japyee Institute of Information technology, Noida, India in the group of quantum optics and communications in 2021-2022. During this period she was a Junior Research Fellowship recipient, given by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Then after, she joined the chair as PhD researcher. Her research at TU Dresden majorly focuses on physical layer service integration for the classical-quantum hybrid 6G architecture and quantum communication protocols.
