M.Sc. Razan Habeeb

PhD Researcher

Razan Habeeb is a PhD researcher at the “Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks” at Technische Universität Dresden. She joined the chair in March 2023. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication Engineering from Tishreen University, Syria, where she focused on “MIMO antenna Systems.” Also, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Electronics Engineering from the same university.

Furthermore, Razan has a Higher Certificate in Public Administration from The National Institute of Public Administration (INA), Damascus, Syria.

Currently, she is involved in the DymoBat project, which aims to develop marketable solutions for future power grid management by leveraging distributed energy resources and applying 5G technologies.

Research Interests:

  • Energy Systems Integration: Exploring the integration of various energy systems, including electric vehicles, renewable energy sources, and the grid. Besides, investigate the challenges and opportunities of integrating these systems to achieve a sustainable and efficient energy ecosystem.
  • Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G): The concept of V2G technology, enabling bidirectional power flow between EVs and the grid, has significant potential for energy flexibility and grid support. I am interested in exploring the opportunities presented by V2G, such as peak load management, grid balancing, and energy storage optimization.
