Dr.-Ing. Roberto Torre

PhD Researcher

Roberto Torre is a Ph.D. student at the “Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks” at TU Dresden, working on the Europa SECRET project. He has been working with the chair since October 2016. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Universitiy of Valladolid, Spain in 2015. He continues his studies in the field of telecommunications and he obtained his master’s degree in 2017 from the Universitiy of Valladolid, Spain. During his studies, he developed deep interests in neural networks, GPU computing, network coding, and mesh networks. Currently, his research interests lie in the areas of Mobile Edge Computing, Software Defined Networking, and Network Function Virtualization.
